Happy Monthsary BGK J. A. M. S. H. I. P. S. Family! Walang 31 ngayong month kaya, let's celebrate our 19th monthsary today. Let us thank God for all the blessings we have received from Him. To mention a few, for giving us this 'family' without whom, my Ginebra life would not be as happy and ofcourse, for allowing us to meet people, share experiences, common things we have, being able to really call ourselves, brothers and sisters. As a way of giving thanks for all the answered prayers, we offer a sharing hand to the less-fortunate ones. This afternoon, we will have a small pasta party for the kids of House of Refuge in Katipunan. I know this is going to be really fun and exciting, i hope to end this day with a happy heart.

Ginebra Pa Rin Hanggang Sa Huli!

Ouch! Our team didn't win. But that's fine -- GINEBRA PA RIN HANGGANG SA HULI! :) Bawi na lang next conference. Is it true that Rudy Hatfield is coming back to play for Ginebra? That is the best news I heard today. I hope that's true. We would badly need this big guy's services next conference.. If you agree with me, raise your hand! Aye, thanks! :) and, of course, our reinforcement Awvee Storey is arriving this Sunday, what good news! That means, the team will practice on Monday and will do their assignments seriously. Seriously.

For other news, our sister in KSA Shell "Caguioa" Toriaga doesn't have any globe sim yet. Please refuse any business with fake people pretending to be our "sis" okay? Confirm it with me first, thru text, or tweet me.

Also, para sa iba pang "other news" hahaha.. yung "gimik" natin sa Sunday, 4pm po yun. I need hands. Who's with me, raise your hands! Aye, thanks! :) super excited talaga ako dito. Ayun. Til next entry Jamships!

Ginebra Stuns Alaska, 93-90

Another come-from-behind game, Ginebra stuns Alaska as the 2nd round of the KFC-PBA Philippine Cup Elimination Round continues.

[As early as December, we already asked our co-Jamships living in Batangas to go and buy tickets for us so that we won't have any problems come January 9. Jamii and Rhoane then exhausted everything, thanks to you my dear bebes..

Gwen, a resident of Laguna and me, a Makati resident travelled our way to Batangas to witness the Ginebra-Alaska game. We were very excited to see the team, as if we're not seeing them during practice or during their Araneta and Cuneta games. Haha! Feeling ecstatic, we were really all geared up, ready to cheer for the team. We saw the team the first time we entered the stadium (or is-tad-yum to the Batangueños) and screeeeeeaamed! And as usual, that familiar feeling of belongingness is there.]

I'm really not in the mood to write. I just wanted another blog entry. ^__^

Undas, Ginebra at Jamships

Hello jamships! Hi mga kabarangay! Musta ang bakasyon? I'm sure, gaya ko, pagod rin kayo sa nagdaang okasyon -- Undas. Sa paglipas ng Undas, sigurado ako, naipanalangin natin ang mga minamahal nating namayapa na, at gaya ng nabanggit ko sa gm, hilingin natin na gabayan nila tayo sa ating buhay.



Masarap pag bakasyon, lalo na sa mga estudyante, bakit nga ba hindi, e pahinga sa sandamukal na assignments, projects, kung anu-anong practice, at mga bulletin board na kelangang tapusin. Tama diba? Para naman sa mga nagtatrabaho nang gaya ko, pahinga sa nakaka-stress na trabaho, boss, kaopisina at iba pang hassle sa labas ng bahay at opisina.



Pag ganitong bakasyon, masarap mag-gm, daming nagrereply e. Haha! Pag ganitong bakasyon, me namimiss tayo. Dahil ang Philippine Basketball Association ay nagbabakasyon rin -- ibig sabihin, walang GINEBRAAA!!! Waaahh! Kayamot nuh? Iniisip natin, kelan kaya resume ng praktis, argh tagal naman ng next game, pwede bang fast-forward natin ang mga araw?! Hahaha! Mga senyales yan ng boredom. Ay hindi. Pagka-adik sa Ginebra, hahaha :)



Pero konting tiis na lang, wag tayong mainip, November 6 (happy birthday NOVY! Happy birthday sa bebe Digs ko) maghaharap ang mahal nating koponan, ang Barangay Ginebra Kings at Barako Bulls. Gaganapin ito sa Cuneta Astrodome, ang detalye, sa sked section. :D

I know that everyone of us also feels the same. All I want is to see my jam-packed family because it will be an explosion of stories, gags and pleasure for sure. Again, only at JAMSHIPS’. Every beat of our heart shouts every interest that we have and our interest to GINEBRA seems roaring the loudest— the thrill and satisfaction are HEARTFELT. If someone couldn’t feel it, its just two things, either you are not a Ginebra fan or you don’t have a heart at all, or worse, neither of those. KUDOS JAMSHIPS! Long way to go… more stories to unfold, more titles to celebrate and more memories to cherish. We are all champions in and OUT of the playing court. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY JAMSHIPS! I LOVE YOU ALL!

What is Jamships?

BGK Jamships. Ano nga ba at para san ang grupong to? Bakit me Jamships? Anong eksena nito?
Jamships. Nagsimula to sa isang pagkakaibigang nabuo sa World Wide Web. Tama. Internet. Imposible mang isipin, pero totoong pagkakaibigan ang namagitan sa 8 babaeng nagkakila-kilala sa POL, ranging from early teenagers, to mid-twenties. Naging magkakaibigan kami dahil sa iisang pagkakapareho -- ang pagkahilig sa basketbol at pagiging tagahanga ng itinuturing na pinakapopular na PBA team, ang Barangay Ginebra Kings. Masayang pagkakaibigan na hindi ininda ang pagiging magkakaiba ng ugali, ng pananaw sa buhay, hindi ininda ang layo ng distansya o ng katotohanang hindi pa kami nagkikita-kita. Napaka-ideal. Pero aaminin kong hindi kami perpekto. Sino bang hindi nagkakamali? Pero tanggap namin ang mga flaws ng bawat isa. Naging matatag ang pagkakaibigan sa maikling panahon. Di lumaon, nagkaron kami ng maraming kaibigan at nagsimulang tumanggap ng miyembro -- naisip naming buksan ang pamilyang ito sa kagustuhang magkaroon ng mas maraming kaibigan at kachikahan tungkol sa paborito naming koponan. Mula kay AM, kay Gracey, hanggang sa ngayon ay halos hirap na rin akong mag GM o group message. Anu bang trip namin? Ang Jamships, gaya ng lagi kong sinasabi, we're not just an ordinary BGK fans club or fan listing. This is friendship that started from being a Ginebra fan. Hindi man kami magkakapareho sa maraming bagay, may iilang tatatak sa isip mo sa oras na makilala mo kami. Jamships is all about friendship and undying, unconditional love for the Barangay Ginebra Kings.
