Ginebra Brings Agony To PBA's Teams To Beat

The Menk-less (out of the game for a minor toe injury) Barangay Ginebra Kings, led by PBA's Fast and the Furious tandem once again brought agonizing pain and frustration to one of the toughest teams to beat - Purefoods. Drawing more than 12 thousand afficionados at the Big Dome, the most popular team Barangay Ginebra Kings chipped 2-0 lead as they rally in PBA KFC Philippine Cup elimination round, 95-87.

With Ronald Tubid, Best Player of the Game, started the game cold but bounced back with a vengeance as he fearlessly claimed 9 points in the 2nd half of the heart-pounding game. Mr. Fast Jayjay Helterbrand paced with 19 points and the ever-reliable William Wilson contributed 16 points.

On their first game this conference last Wednesday, October 14, Ginebra stunned San Miguel Beer, 98-86. Mark "The Spark" Caguoia, displayed great shooting prowess as he scored 17 points and was eventually declared the night's Best Player of the Game.

GinKings' next assigment, Smart-Gilas this Friday, October 23, 2009 2:30 PM to be held at the Cuneta Astrodome.
